The Basic Lore of Aldspace
Raetion is a world that other worlds and Gods have forgotten. A place you can never seek out but are always seeking to leave. Those born of this world live under the strange god Viqua, a massive snake, who tears rifts into the skies, dropping riches, buildings, cities, threats, and unlucky souls, 'Stolen Ones,' to the lands below. Those lucky enough to survive their arrival must journey to find cities where they can seek refuge and uncover why and how they came to be here. Join those trapped within the snake's whim and do what others cannot. Accept your fate or find the answers that will send you home. But will you return home as you once were or as a corpse, these are the questions that shall plague your mind.
But in this world, Gods do not exist, and a domain gives the magic you may wield, not a god. Killed by Viqua, the gods were devoured, and their powers consumed. But a lucky goddess broke herself apart, bringing forth a new age of fertility within the lands and thus saving herself from the same fate as her fellow gods and goddesses.
Glossary:
Aldspace - This world's plane/space. Everything encompassing past the planet into the beyond.
Raetion - The world/planet's name.
Aldsea City - The original city of the server. Serves under the country of Gortarth. Named for "The Great Auld Sea"
