Become a Volunteer

Enjoying RPDND? Want to help others get involved quickly? Story-telling interests you? What about building? We also have positions for those who are more artistic! Whatever your interest is we are bound to have a place you will fit in and be able to help the server as a volunteer.

Volunteers

Players dedicating time beyond roleplaying to make experiences better for the rest of the community. Volunteers should maintain a level of professionalism when speaking to each other and the playerbase. But let me be clear they are also not there to be walked over or abused by players. Servers need volunteers and players in the community to work together to make a place special. So while the volunteer team may have fancy tags or titles they are still players. Just players with a little bit more time on their hands and a desire to see this place succeed. If you want to make RPDND better and you feel you can contribute to the server then don't hesitate to apply.

All Positions are Open and Taking Applications

Dungeon Master [DMs]

Dungeon masters are the story tellers, combat wizards, and the people who can make you laugh, cry, or run for cover. Be it wholesome to terrifying, easy to challenging. The DM team focuses on the enjoyment but also the challenge of what D&D is. They won't hold your hand but they won't go out of their way to kill you either. If you are interested in the DM team you must pass the TDM phase first.

Game Master [Mods]

The server moderation team. Focused on swiftly correcting bad behavior but also making sure we are not blindly punishing players without any additional information or evidence. This team works to make sure players are respectful, welcoming, and good community members.

Architects

The architect team are more than just builders. They are creators of moods, environments, and adding a spark to a dull world with unique and even secret additions for players to find. They take on a lot of player build requests, DM build requests, and Server build requests.

Architects should be willing to work as a team on projects, good communication between departments, and have good time management to make sure projects are completed on time.

Make sure to have a portfolio of work before applying.

Loremasters

Loremasters weave stories together and making sure the world's rules are followed. They can take an area and give it history. They can take an npc and create an epic story of trials and obstacles allowing characters to one day discover these hidden tales stowed away across the lands.

They have a lot of work to do and this is a fairly new team. We are always seeking writers with a passion to tell stories even if they arent your own.

Make sure to have a portfolio of work before applying.

Media

Photography, video editing, 3d Models, Pixel Art! What is it that you fancy? This is the group for creatives in digital media. Members in this team do not have to do all aspects of media but can have a focus or do several types of media.

Systems

This team is focused on making sure new systems and old systems are in balance and flow together. We want to aim for a unique experience but do not want to lose our way when setting them up. Join this team if you are interested in game design and planning out balanced systems.

This team does not modify or homebrew Dungeons & Dragons content. Only works on the unique systems within RPDND.

Requests

Similar to the DM team but focused on Player Requests. Sorta like when you want to beat a world record you have to find out what the requirements are to do stuff. This team gives those requirements. This teams job is to make sure the requests are reviewed, assigned appropriate tasks or goals, and denied or accepted depending on results. They are not a team for "Event Begging" but if you wanted to create a new potion for instance they would be the team to facilitate that.

Trial Dungeon Masters

Trial Dungeon Masters are players who wish to become DMs but need to prove themselves by hosting content in special zones. This position will lead into a volunteer position of DM. But it requires time and dedication.
